Somehow I can't see Alice as the homemaker type busily preparing meals for her hub to come home.  Sorry if that seems 'off' but I just don't get that vibe from her!

from the doctor´s point of view - look at his fingers - how skinny look

conclusion: there is a need to fatten him up, I am sure Mrs. Cage - ALice can prepare something good and effective enough for him.
