Well Jenny I think maybe Nic was a rebel with or without a cause when he was Weston´s age... and he was a punk rocker at (wild) heart. With mellow age comes serenity. Weston wil grow up to find his own artistic voice within the Coppola clan, just like his dad.
I've said it before and I'll say it again.............It's amazing how different people can look at the same picture or even the same person in such polar opposite ways!
I've always thought that both Nic and Christinia were very rebellious artists.
To me, when I consider Nic, I see a man who knows how to walk in both worlds (mainstream and edgy) because of his high visibility. He is....as an A listed actor....a 'product' and he has learned to play the part.
If you were to read all of his old interviews and such......I think you'd find he was probably even more rebellious early on than Weston is today.
He just figured out how to play the game of appealing to the masses early on whereas Weston is going for the shock value which only appeals to a select few.

OK, eyes are eyes, but me think this apple had dropped far away from the tree. I think NIC is gentle, romantic, loving soul, and Wes looks like walking REBELIA, doesn´t he?
And his mother /christina fulton/ is also very gentle and "soft" person, who can explain this gentic shift to me?
